Korea Showcases Smart Mobility Leadership at the 31st ITS World Congress in Atlanta
The
Korea Pavilion showcased how Korea advanced smart mobility through strong
public-private partnerships under the leadership of the Ministry of Land,
Infrastructure and Transport (MOLIT). Together with ITS Korea, the Pavilion
brought leading smart mobility affiliates to present Korea’s most innovative
solutions. Visitors joined live demonstration sessions to experience the latest
smart mobility technologies shaping Korea’s future. The Pavilion was
facilitated by ITS Korea, a nonprofit organization designated by MOLIT to carry
out three core missions: operating the ITS Standards General Assembly, managing
the C-ITS pilot project, and fostering global collaboration with a variety of
ITS partners. In addition to highlighting these initiatives, it featured hands-on
demonstrations of innovative technologies such as LiDAR sensing, V2X
communication, AI-based road management, and the Integrated Pedestrian Safety
Solution, giving visitors a firsthand experience of the future of smart
mobility in Korea.
