* Selected regions: Gyeongsangnam-do and Taean County, Chungcheongnam-do

- Program Overview:

* The Smart City Development Project is a three-year initiative using AI and smart technologies to address diverse urban challenges and boost the smart city industry.

- Selection Process:

* In March, the Ministry invited local governments to apply under two categories:

* Hub-type Smart City Development

* Specialized Smart City Districts
