Yongin City said it will invest 1.04 billion KRW to install AI 'smart crosswalks' on 17 elementary-school routes by September, using deep learning to track pedestrians and automatically extend walk signals for children. The city plans to expand the system to 10 senior-protection zones such as nursing homes and senior centers.
