Korean autonomous driving company Autonomous a2z said on August 4 that it has signed an 11 billion KRW (about 7.6 million USD) self-driving supply contract with Space42, an Emirati AI and space-tech company, the first time autonomous driving technology developed in Korea has been exported to the Middle East. The deal follows the Abu Dhabi joint venture the two firms completed in November 2025 and Korea's first national-core-technology export approval for autonomous driving, granted in February.
