STRAFFIC has signed a 74.5 billion KRW business transfer agreement to acquire the rail signalling division of LS Electric, holding the signing ceremony on 7 August. The company said the acquisition is meant to localise rail signalling technology in Korea and raise domestic safety standards, while accelerating its entry into overseas markets on the strength of the combined portfolio.
