Hyundai Motor Group will begin a mobile healthcare pilot later this year in the BSD smart city in Jakarta, Indonesia, using a Kia PV5 Cargo Long purpose-built vehicle converted into a clinic with a folding patient bed, a medical chair and an electrocardiograph run off the vehicle's V2L power output. The group is operating the service with Sinar Mas Land, the Indonesian developer supporting infrastructure inside BSD City, and Eka Hospital, which supplies the medical staff and equipment, and said it aims to build a smart city model connecting housing, transport and healthcare and to expand it to other ASEAN countries.
